A roadmap that stays simple and honest

Maplan's roadmap view is intentionally minimal. Three columns, clean statuses, and a view that's easy for customers to understand without needing a tour.

Columns

  • Planned — committed but not started.
  • In Progress — currently being worked on.
  • Released — shipped and available to users.

Essential features only

  • • Simple three-column layout: Planned, In Progress, Released.
  • • Drag-and-drop for admins to quickly reshuffle priorities as things change.
  • • Public, read-only view so customers and teammates can see what's coming without editing access.
  • • Each card links back to the underlying idea so context is never more than a click away.

Built for clarity, not complexity

Many roadmap tools overload the view with swimlanes, multiple timelines, and dozens of fields. Maplan's roadmap focuses on the basics so you can answer the questions customers actually ask:

  • • What's being worked on right now?
  • • What's planned but not started yet?
  • • What have you shipped recently?

Connected to feedback & changelog

  • • Roadmap items originate from real ideas in your feedback board.
  • • When you move an item to Released, you can publish a matching changelog entry.
  • • Customers can click from roadmap cards back to the original idea for full context.
